Game 8 - Round 1

Welcome to the end of our first round of Game Eight on Net Bullseye. Well, Round One was an event where the Bullseye giveth, and the Bullseye taketh away! A record amount of Bullseyes appeared in this round. (For those of you trivia buffs :^), absolutely no Bullseyes appeared in Game 7!) The Bullseye Bonus put three time champ John Venturini in a dead heat with Mike Klauss. John has $3500, followed by Mike at $3000. It is still anyone's game. So, good luck to all of you in Round Two, which begins tomorrow.....

Game 8 - Round 2

As Frank would say, "WOW!" This was a really fun round of Net Bullseye. Though little changed in the standings, you players really picked up the pace of the game, and wound up with some very respectable scores. Congrats to all! But most of all, congratulations to our two players who will be advancing to our TOURNAMENT ROUND. Those lucky and skillful players are Mike Klauss, and fifth time Tournament Round visitor John Venturini. Good luck guys. I would like to thank the rest of the players for participating so graciously, and for making Net Bullseye such a pleasure to host. Thank you for making the first full year of my net game so much fun. Following Game 8, we will have our first Tournament Of Champions. Stay tuned!

<Tammy Warner's worst nightmare, the ghost of Jay Stewart> Now back to Tom Hornikel for the exciting results of Game 8 on the game where daring determines the fate of the player. This is the game of strategy, luck and knowledge. This is the final game of our first season of NET BULLSEYE!!!! And here is our host, Tom Hornikel!</Tammy Warner's worst nightmare, the ghost of Jay Stewart>

Thank you Jay Stewart. Thank you everyone! Unlike Game 7, where there were absolutely no Bullseyes appearing in the game, Game 8 had a remarkable record shattering 15 Bullseyes in one game! In any event, one Bullseye really mattered, and that Bullseye belonged to Mike Klauss, who managed to mathematically eliminate three time winner John Venturini in our Tournament Round. Congrats, Mike! Next up, our bonus game....so please stay tuned!!!

Here's hoping everything you do hits the

Game 8 - Bonus Round

<ghost of Jay Stewart>This is our new Champion, Mike Klauss. Stand by as Mike challenges our Bonus Island for over $40,000 in cash and prizes...as we play NET BULLSEYE! And here is our host, Tom Hornikel!</ghost of Jay Stewart>

Tom Hornikel: Thank you Jay. I would like to congratulate you Mike. You defeated a tough competitor in John Venturini. As you know, John has been our biggest winner, winning a record three games, since we started Net Bullseye one year ago. In the main game, you won with an impressive CY$7400. Now you have the chance to add to those winnings in our bonus round. On our Bonus Island, you will have the chance to win a fortune in cash and prizes, including this prize that the ghost of Jay Stewart is about to describe. What is it Jay?

<ghost of Jay Stewart>IT'S A BRAND NEW CAR! The Chrysler 300M, Motor Trend's Car of the Year Award Winner! This sleek new design is reminiscent of the legendary 300 Letter series cars from the fifties and sixties, with the sophistication and comfort of a modern luxury sedan. Complete with a 253 horsepower engine, heated leather seats with memory control, and 11 speaker Infiniti stereo with cassette and 4 disc CD changer, power moonroof, Autostick and more! Today's 300M. The technology has changed, but the soul lives on. </ghost of Jay Stewart>

Tom: Let's keep our fingers crossed, and hope you can win that 300M to replace your Saturn, Mike! :^) Oh yes! Just a reminder that you will be joining us in our upcoming TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS next game. You will be facing off against aforementioned John Venturini, plus Adam Cohen, Bill Hughes, Mark Jeffries and Lee Feigenbaum. That tournament will commence next week, so stay tuned!

It is time for you to join me on the Bonus Island, so come on over........

Mike, in these three windows are various dollar amounts, Bullseyes and Lightning. The object is to collect 3 Bullseyes without seeing the Lightning. You may freeze a window containing a Bullseye at any time, but if you do collect those 3 Bullseyes without seeing the Lightning, you will win two and one half times the money you have accumulated in the game, plus these prizes...

<ghost of Jay Stewart>Mike! You will be playing for our SOUND OF MUSIC PACKAGE! The hills are alive, as we will send you via RTA bus over Cedar Hill to newly remodeled Severance Hall in Cleveland for a Cleveland Orchestra concert! Once the concert ends, get back on that bus, because we are sending you to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! Enjoy the sights and sounds of Rock History. After your museum visit, walk across Cleveland's Public Square, and hop on an RTA Rapid Transit train to Hopkins Airport. Because we are flying you via Continental Airlines to the Grand Ol Opry! Enjoy country music and fun activities for a full week in Tennessee. But that is not all! After your week in country music land, we will fly you to the jazz capitol of the world, New Orleans!!! Check out the best in live jazz, while viewing the history of the French Quarter and partaking in genuine New Orleans cajun/creole cuisine. Mike, this SOUND OF MUSIC package is worth $6,450!!!<ghost of Jay Stewart>

Tom: Also, Mike, if you get three Bullseyes in one spin, you will win that Chrysler 300M! Good luck to you. The windows are mixing the information. Good luck with your first spin.....

Please let me know if you wish to take that $450 and quit the game, or risk it all for the prizes.

Mike Klauss: Tom, as appealing as $450 is, that's chump change compared to what I can win. Now you see it's vital that I go on. Get it? Chump change, Now You See It? Thank you folks. Try the veal.

Let's continue, please.

Tom: What? You make a Chump Change quip, and you think we at Net Bullseye are just going to give you a Blank Check? :^) Okay, here is your second spin. You are risking $450, please stay away from the LIGHTNING!.....

Hey! A natural triple! Too bad this isn't Net Joker's Wild. But then, this would be a game of definitions. You are now risking $1050. What do you want to do?

Mike: Can I freeze the top two $200s and work only with the last wheel? :-)

Let's continue, please.

Tom: You are the champ, Mike! But as Frank would say....NO! Let's hope for Bullseyes and no LIGHTNING in your third spin....

Keep going or take the $1350? And if you press your luck, do you wish to freeze that second window? Remember, the LIGHTNING could be behind that window, or you might want to risk it all for the car. Your decision.

Mike: Ooooo... The bullseye looks nice but Bullseye is a game of risk and not a game of definitions. Don't freeze the bullseye and let's spin the info again!

Tom: Risking $1350, and throwing away the Bullseye. It worked for John Venturini. Let's see if it will work for you, Mike. Here is your fourth spin...

$1650 and a Bullseye. Play on? Keep the Bullseye? I think you know what the audience wants you to do. What do you want to do?

Mike: I'm starting to grow feathers and wings. I think I'm starting to chicken out. :-D

Tom: Well there is still some mighty nasty LIGHTNING out there. Let's hope it was behind the first window, as we see your fifth spin..

<BULLSEYE>

*$100*

(shshshunk!)

*$100*

$1850...Keep it going?

Mike: Continue please!

Tom: Gladly. Mike, this is your sixth spin. Get two more BULLSEYES without seeing any LIGHTNING.....

It gets more difficult as we continue. Now, you risk a whopping $2200. You have one insurance in that BULLSEYE. Do you wish to risk it by continuing?

Mike: Yes, this is getting more risky. I will continue!

Tom: With LIGHTNING looming, brave Mike continues....

<BULLSEYE>

YOU WIN!!!! Mike! You win the $7700 in cash, the SOUND OF MUSIC prize package worth $6450, PLUS $7400 from the game....Mike Klauss, you are a big winner with winnings totalling over $21,500!!!! By the way...where was the LIGHTNING?

*LIGHTNING*

The third window was home to the dreaded LIGHTNING. Boy! You were lucky and skillful in this game! Not only do you have over $21K in winnings, but you get to return as a big winner in our TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS! That event will commence next week with a grand prize of $100,000! Congratulations again, Mike!
